Christmas was a very fun, enjoyable, and long day. It began when Ben and I woke up late and headed into Billings. We had a huge surprise planned for his grandparents. Grandma and Grandpa Wulf recently moved to Billings from Butte, where they were born and raised. In Butte, there are historical gallows frames that mark the entrances to mine shafts all over the hill of Butte. Ben's dad, along with with the help of Ben's family, made a replica of a gallows frame to put on the hill behind their new house. The surprise was unveiled on Christmas Day. The Billings Gazette even did a story on it, and ran it on the front page on December 26th. go to www.billingsgazette.com for the story and search for "Christmas Surprise" for the whole story. It was very neat and pretty emotional for Ben's grandparents.
